Why Kettlebells?
Kettlebells have been an integral component of the training at Mbody Strength due to the functionality of those little (and big) bells.
Kettlebells are no fad. They are not going the way of some cheap TV fitness gizmo. Kettlebells are the real deal that will deliver you real results.
MBody Standard
Each participant will be put through what is known as the MBody Standard. A standard that is held not just as a fun workout at the end of a workshop but a standard that should be upheld for basic survival.
The entire MKS is strenuous, but you must successfully pass the MBody Standard for Training as well as accompanying workout.
The MBody Philosophy
The MBody Philosophy is simple.
1. Train like an athlete to move like an athlete
When you think of an athlete you think of a beautiful combination of strength, power, endurance and aesthetics.
You think of a lean, strong human being. An athlete is mobile, quick and agile.
Even if you do not want to play a sport, when you think of yourself as an athlete of life you will train like one.
2. Train for survival to be able to throw anything life throws at you
Training for aesthetics is great but how many people train from the standpoint of survival.
Can you perform 10 straight strict pull-ups?
Can you run a mile no problem?
If not, you need to reevaluate what you are training for. Train for survival and you'll be sure to survive the Zombie Apocalypse!
